India Green Group: Say no to plastics

Sage India organized a competition in April 2022 at both the Delhi and Dehradun locations. During that time, we asked our employees to write a pledge on sustainable initiatives they would want to drive at the workplace and at home. Some 54 pledges were signed in Delhi and 85 in Dehradun. The main theme that emerged was avoiding the use of plastics. Hence, we rolled out a contest where entries were invited to express the term “Say no to plastics.” We received 18 entries in total, and two got shortlisted. The two winners were Amisha Khantwal, executive with global customer services, and Navneet Talwar, executive with global services finance.

Workshop on creating sustainable Holi colors

Our workshop encouraged staff members to learn and create sustainable Holi colors using safe kitchen products. The purpose of the activity was to create awareness toward environmental and skin damage when using colors made with chemicals. Neetu Kalra, assistant vice president for journals commissioning, conducted the workshop and showcased how fruit and vegetable colors should be used. Workshop attendees followed along virtually and created the colors in their homes.
